COMMUNITY LIAISON GROUP
After consultation with community
representatives, parish councils and members of the borough and
county councils, we have taken on board views about how the wider
public consultation should be undertaken now that the wind farm has
been awarded planning consent.
As a result, we have set up a Community Liaison Group, to improve
communications between RES and local communities up to and during
the wind farm's construction. The Group is made up of
representatives from all of the local communities around the wind
farm and meets every 1-2 months to discuss any matters relating to
the project.
Terms of Reference.
The terms of reference were discussed at the Group's first meeting
on 16th March 2010 and were presented to the 1st July meeting for
final sign-off. The terms of reference can be seen here.

Membership
The initial membership of the CLG has been based on the inclusion of elected representatives for the communities within the immediate area surrounding the Wadlow Farm wind farm site. Having set up the initial structure for the Group, based on a democratically accountable membership, it is the prerogative of the members to invite or elect other community representatives on to the group for future meetings, and/or invite specialists to meetings to discuss certain topics in more detail as required.
